About Amazone North America
AMAZONE in North America – A Tradition of Innovation, A Future of Growth
Founded in 1883, AMAZONE has been shaping the future of agricultural technology for over 140 years. The Dreyer family, who still lead the company today, began developing and manufacturing agricultural machinery as early as the 18th century. Today, AMAZONE is one of Europe’s market and technology leaders in soil tillage, seeding, fertilization, and crop protection.
Our North American journey began in the 1970s, when AMAZONE fertilizer spreaders were sold by the thousands across the U.S. under the brand names EasyFlow and New Idea. Building on this early success, AMAZONE established its own factory in Manitoba, Canada in the 1980s. It was there that the Primera DMC direct seeder was developed – a pioneering machine that continues to deliver outstanding performance on farms around the world.
Since 2016, AMAZONE has expanded its presence in North America with two dedicated sites in Warwick, Quebec and El Dorado, Kansas. With more than 30 employees across the continent, our local teams are committed to supporting farmers and dealers with hands-on expertise and close customer relationships.
Our focus in North America lies in fertilizer spreading and soil tillage – areas where AMAZONE technology is especially trusted. In addition, we offer high-performance crop protection sprayers and precision seeding equipment, all tailored to the demands of modern agriculture.
At AMAZONE, we pride ourselves on being close to our customers. Whether in Europe or North America, our success is built on strong partnerships with farmers and dealers. As a professional supplier of advanced agricultural machinery, we are perfectly positioned to meet the needs of the North American market – today and in the future.
